SNAPSHOTS have earned a York photo lab seven awards in a year.
Snappy Snaps, in Stonegate, York, have won a High Street Lab Of The Year award from Amateur Photographer, a leading weekly photo magazine.
It is the seventh time this year that the store, run by husband and wife team, Sam and Peter Lyth, has been rewarded for its efforts.
The York Snappy Snaps store was also named as the best in the country by the director of the franchise, Don Kennedy, at the company's annual conference in Venice.
The franchise's training manager, Ricky Devonish, visited the store to present the team with the best store award.
The Stonegate store, which is Snappy Snaps' first in Yorkshire, has been trading since April 2002. Mrs Lyth said: "We are delighted to win this award, as we try to go further for our customers, offering them friendly service and advice.
"We pride ourselves on giving excellent print quality and, like all Snappy Snaps, we check each individual image."
