Nick Willis netted a last-minute penalty for Bishopthorpe but it was too late to save his team from another Reserve 'A' defeat, this time at the hands of Pocklington who scored via Simon Cook, Dave Fields and an own goal.

York St John's turned on the power in the second half turning an intrval 1-0 lead over hosts Osbaldwick into a 6-3 triumph with goals from Robin Bedford (3), Mark Leask (2) and Si Connell. Steve Horner, Ian Topping and Guy Ulliott replied.

New Earswick dropped two points and two places in Reserve 'B' after a 0--0 draw with Copmanthorpe.

That boosted nearest rivals, Huntington and Wigginton Black Horse, who both won.

Chris Dower (2), Lee Jackson (3) and John Elsegood sealed Huntington's 6-0 win at Poppleton, while the Black Horse marksmen in a 3-1 victory at Heslington were Simon Drake, Angus Clapham and James Wood.

Apart from a John Hughes repy, Heslington were denied by ex-goalkeeper Mal Ibbotson.

Wigginton Grasshoppers won the derby game with Haxby 3-0 with goals from John Alcock (2) and Ben Coates.

Thorpe took over top spot in Reserve 'C' with an eight-goal thrashing of Wilberfoss. Richard Cuss (2), Matthew Hoyle (2), Andy Mason, James Tweedy, Lee Knights and Eric Montgomery were on target.

Previous leaders Hamilton Panthers had to come back from three down at Nestle Rowntree to salvage a point. Eddie Phillips struck twice in the first half and again at the start of the second to for 'Trees before a Steve Gaghan penalty began the fight back. Jack Midgley and Adam Wood then struck.

Stillington were top scorers in Reserve 'D' with seven goals in their game at LNER Builders. Stephan Dziurzynski (2), Graham Morrison (2), Shaun Linton, Adam Howard and Robert Hogg were on the score-sheet along with Steve Crosby who also netted the Builders' consolation goal. Amotherby returned from Heworth with a 3 -1 win. Matthew Hood scored from the penalty spot after half an hour, Matty Target struck just after the hour mark and Keiron Wall bagged their third five minutes later. Paul Flint replied for Heworth with a penalty.

Liam Morrison, Robin Clyfan, Danny O'Leary, and Rob Murphy, with a last-minute penalty, were on target for Fulford in their 4-2 win at home to Norton.
