I THANK the kind people who came to my aid when I came off my bike in Sainsburys/Homebase car park on Saturday, December 6.
Four or five women and a male doctor - who attended to me until the ambulance arrived - kept me warm with coats and a blanket, another rang for the ambulance and my brother while another took care of my bicycle.
Thank you too to Homebase who looked after my bike until someone could collect it for me.
I thanked these people at the time despite the pain I was in from a fractured rib, but I also wanted to publicly acknowledge their kindness and attention.
Ann Forshaw,
Fourth Avenue,
York.
