Harrogate Town take a breather from the UniBond League with a first round President's Cup tie at Alfreton Town.
Manager John Reed said: "We have only lost once in the last 12 games in the league and this week we get a break from it.
"We have got as good a chance as they have but they are only three points behind us."
The squad has been boosted this week by the signing of centre-half Robert Bell from Worksop after an approach for a Barrow defender fell through.
Captain Robbie Whellans has been sent out to Ratcliffe Borough on loan to get some match-fitness following a long-term injury, while Reed has also offered midfielder Scott Bonsall on a loan deal.
