SELBY Town will have to be on their game tomorrow to overcome mid-table Glapwell in the Northern Counties East League premier division.

Manager Bob Lyon will have a virtually complete squad to pick from for the Robins' match with both Russell Barley and Tom Matthews returning from suspension and Pat Gaughan recovering from a back injury.

But even though Glapwell are some 11 places behind them, Lyon is expecting a tough match and will be telling his players as such.

He said: "The league positions won't make much of a difference although the players will see it as a bit easier. But they went to Pickering and lost by the odd goal and had a number of close results so we know they will be no mugs."

Pickering Town boss Steve Brown is hoping to build on a promising position with one eye already on the end of season placings.

His side are playing at home to third-placed Eastwood Town tomorrow with hopes of three points to cement their league standing.

He said: "It's going to be a tough game but they are coming to our patch.

"We have been a little off colour lately in terms of results but I'm still very confident that we can get back on track.

"We are seventh in the league at the moment and I'm hoping that is how things will go come the end of the season - certainly no lower than that."

Centre half Pete Vasey will face a fitness test on a four-week-old hamstring injury and Mark Wood is due back from suspension.
