MY wife and I and our extended family went to the pantomime Jack And The Beanstalk at the Grand Opera House, York.
The show throughout was full of superb dancing, lots of fun and some excellent singing.
Lynne McGranger (Witch Blackweed) - Irene from Home And Away - gave a supreme performance with her hand movements, great dancing and beautiful singing voice.
She was ably supported by Stuart Wade as Simon (Biff from Emmerdale), Andrea Poyser (as Jack) and Paul Critchlow (as Tilly Trott- the Dame) - only his second time as a Dame.
Our very own James Watt, from Minster FM, played King Willy and did well.
An excellent show, and well worth the money.
Not to be missed!
