I TAKE great exception to Frank Cartin saying don't close the pubs, close York FC football ground, (Letters December 16). I don't hear him complain when the races are on in city.
No, it seems to me Mr Cartin and certain other businesses in York only care about tourism. It's about time York residents came first. And 3,000 or more of those residents support York City every home game.
You should be backing us Mr Cartin not putting obstacles in our way. We have enough people doing that.
