Selby Warriors player-coach Kev Fellows will be able to choose from a full-strength squad on Saturday as his side bid for a third 'giant-killing' in the Pennine League's Shipley Trophy.

In-form Morley Borough are the visitors to Sandhill Lane for a second-round tie (ko 2pm) and will be clear favourites to progress. They lie third in division three, two divisions higher than Selby, who are third in division five.

However, the Warriors have already knocked out two division three sides already this season, Rotherham in the preliminary round and Illingworth 'A' in the first.

And coach Fellows has returning all the players who had to miss last week's trip to Victoria Rangers, as well as new signing Craig Whitley, who has rejoined after a spell with Eastmoor.

Spokesman Dave Sowden added: "We will go into the game on the back of a three-game winning run and are full of confidence, and we're hoping for a large crowd to cheer us on."

York Acorn 'A' are also in Shipley Trophy action as they entertain York Groves' conquerors, Wyke.

The Blue and Golds have only been beaten once in division five this season but their form has dropped off in the last couple of weeks - to include a York and District Cup defeat to Groves - and Wyke, who are mid-table in division four, should provide a stern test.

Acorn will be looking for neighbours YORK Groves to do them a favour in the league as the Terriers entertain second-placed Undercliffe at Archbishop Holgate School. Undercliffe are only two points behind Acorn in the title race.
