HONOURS even graced the York Leeper Hare Reserve 'A' clash between St John's College and Osbaldwick.

The two sides were locked in a 2-2 draw, Matt Moore and Simon Connell on target for The Students with Phil Grayson and Guy Ulliott sharing the plunder for Osbaldwick.

The top scorer of the day in Reserve 'A' was Kartiers' John Knowles. He notched a hat-trick in his team's 4-0 home win over Pocklington, Rob Bolger bagging the other goal.

Also striking a four-goal blast were Malton Bacon Factory for whom a brace of strikes from Tommy Oxtoby was supplemented by a Jamie Wood solo effort and an own goal at hosts Bishopthorpe. Nick Willis mustered Bishopthorpe's lone reply.

Haxby came out on top of a seven-goal thriller in their Reserve 'B' derby at Wigginton Black Horse.

Ben Drummond gave Haxby an early lead and Mike Taylor added a second, but goals from Neil Newton, Matthew Wash and Ben Petts gave Black Horse the half-time lead. Drummond equalised for Haxby, whose team manager Jeff Winter then came off the substitutes' bench to bag a late winner.

Huntington continue to set the pace but only after a close-run clash against visiting Poppleton.

After the hosts' opener from Chris Dower was wiped out by a Jamie Agnew leveller, Agnew scored again and Poppleton held the lead until Huntington's three-goal blitz in the last 20 minutes through Mark Gambles, Dower again and John Colley.

Stamford Bridge are still searching for their first win. Nick Mennell gave them a first half lead at Barmby Moor only for an own goal to restore parity on the hour. Strikes from Phil Harper and Barry Shepherdson sealed Barmby Moor's comeback.

Reserve 'C' pace-setters Thorpe United, Nestl Rowntree and Hamilton Panthers all enjoyed wins.

The Panthers top-scored in a 6-2 beating of Hemingbrough with goals from Steve Gagan (2), brothers Mark and Jamie Moore, Lee Hall and Jamie Dawe.

Thorpe toppled Rufforth 4-2 with a brace apiece for Gareth Rhodes and Matthew Hoyle, while Nestl Rowntree's 3-0 triumph over Wilberfoss was decorated with goals from Eddie Phillips (2) and Steve Fratson.

Fulford and visitors Amotherby and Swinton shared a cracking Reserve 'D' game.

Rob Murphy and Howard Cooper scored first half goals for Fulford with Matthew Hoyle replying.

Richard Kerrison equalised after the break but Murphy restored Fulford's lead from the penalty spot only for Amotherby's Oliver Salisbury to level again in the last minute.

Heworth's promotion push was stalled at Stillington where goals from Wayne Linton and Graham Morrison (2) gave the home side a 3-1 win.

Huby gained three valuable points at Norton with a 3-2 success. Leading 3-0 at half-time through Mike Watts (2) and Steve Brogan they were made to sweat as Sam Cooper and Tony Ellison replies hiked the tension.
