ON behalf of Nunnery Area Residents' Association I thank City of York Council and the police for all their hard work and persistent efforts in successfully evicting the nuisance tenant from our area. It is a huge relief to everyone who lives nearby and beneficial to the area as a whole.
We are very pleased to see the council and police working together in tackling this kind of problem with such firm commitment. Anti-social behaviour from just one person cannot be allowed when it affects an entire area and makes other people's lives so difficult. No one should have to live in fear of their neighbour.
We look forward to working with all agencies to make life more pleasant for everyone.
