Kieren Fallon, currently booting home winners galore on the all-weather tracks, can do the 'old firm' a good turn at Lingfield tomorrow.

The champion jockey teams-up with Norton trainer Tim FitzGerald, son of his former boss, Jimmy, aboard Kingsdon in the Bet Direct Banded Stakes and I fancy the seven-year-old to gain his second course success.

A fortnight ago Kingsdon belied his 12-1 odds by gaining a head success over Monduru after the pair had drawn seven lengths clear of the rest of the field.

Martin Dwyer was in the saddle on that occasion, but Fallon takes over tomorrow and renews old ties with the FitzGerald yard.

An up-and-coming apprentice when he joined the Norton Grange stable in the late 1980s, Fallon enjoyed the sort of platform with FitzGerald on which his subsequent career has been built. Six-times champion, he is odds-on to take the title yet again this year.

My Nap selection Kingsdon is not the only winner Fallon is likely to ride at Lingfield tomorrow.

He start by winning on Confuzed (2.30), who showed his winning turn was near on his latest start.

The consistent Ballinger Ridge (3.30) gives Fallon another chance to shine.

Placed on all his three starts this season, Andrew Balding's five-year-old is equipped with blinkers for the first time tomorrow. The headgear could enable to clinch that elusive first win.

The Littlewoods Bet Direct Banded Stakes will not take much winning and Fallon's mount Theatre Lady must be short-listed, not least because David Evans' filly is the only previous course winner in the field.

A rise in temperature is needed for tomorrow's jumps meeting at Catterick to go ahead.

Sheriff Hutton trainer Tim Walford can lift the Sky Vegas Live Channel 292 Novices' Handicap Hurdle with Petrea. Twice a winner this season, Petrea comes from a stable which sent out Guilsborough Gorse to win at Musselburgh yesterday.

Moreluck was a Musselburgh winner three weeks ago and Kim Bailey's gelding can follow-up in the Paly Super Keno on Channel 292 Novices' Chase. With only three races so far this season, Moreluck, a former point-to-pointer in Ireland, is open to further improvement.

Also worth noting is Ceresfield in the Game On Til 2 On 292 Handicap Chase. Ceresfield was a six lengths winner on his latest start, at Musselburgh.
