THE world's tallest woman and shortest man have been in York - all for a scoop of ice-cream.
Zainab Bibi, who stands at 7ft 2in and is from Pakistan, and 39-ins tall Ali Zaman, were at the Warner Village Vue cinema to publicise a giant new ice-cream scoop.
The new Big-Boy scoop weighs in at six ounces - 50 per cent more than a normal scoop, and is to be sold at the Baskin-Robbins ice-cream outlet in the cinema.
A Baskin-Robbins roadshow will be visiting Vue and Cineworld cinemas round the country to promote the new dessert.
Carol Senior, Baskin-Robbins area manager, said: "Smash hits like The Lord Of The Rings trilogy have set the trend for longer films - so bigger is definitely better where cinema munchies are concerned.
"We're sure our customers are ready for the Big-Boy challenge."
