THIS letter is to all leaders of Christian churches, in and around York. I believe the Lord is saying, it's time to pull down barriers. It's time to put aside all our differences and intolerance for one another and become what we are supposed to be, the body of Christ.
It's time to build bridges and stand together in unity. It's time to redig the wells the past great men of God started, such as the Wesleys, General Booth, Smith Wrigglesworth and David Watson, and think of the great foundation that was laid.
Let all Christians stand up and be counted, and be proud of being called a Christian. Let's take our lights from under the bushel, and let us shine throughout this city.
Ken Sagar,
White Rose Avenue,
New Earswick, York.
