Sub Richard Broadbent netted the only goal of the game as Kartiers beat Dunnington to keep the pressure on Reserve A leaders Dringhouses who were in Cup action.

The only other game in this division saw Old Malton come back from three down to take a point at Osbaldwick. Guy Ulliott (2) and Peter Elcock were the Osbaldwick target men.

Barry Shepherdson netted in each half to give Barmby Moor a 2-0 win over Wigginton Grasshoppers in Reserve B and goals from Chris Plowman and Chris Allen won a point for Stamford Bridge in a 2-2 draw at Heslington.

Poppleton took the lead at Easingwold from a Danny Barrett penalty but the home side ran out comfortable 5-1 winners with goals from Mike Smith (3), Lee Goodwin and Paul Simpson.

Brad Dunn (2), Mark Moore, Steve Gaghan and Lee Hall were Hamilton Panthers' scorers at Wilberfoss to stay second in Reserve C with a 5-2 win. Shaun Hodgson netted both for Foss.

Philip Wardman (2) and Philip Atkinson were the scorers for Tockwith as they won 3-0 in their Reserve D game at Fulford. Second-placed Amotherby & Swinton beat Norwich Union 2-0 with goals from John Dunning and Richard Kerrison.

Stillington won 2-1 at York RI with a Chris Gallier penalty and a strike from Graham Morrison; Dave Wood replied for RI. Andy Innes scored in each half for Heworth to give them a 2-1 win at Norton. Ben Spenceley struck for Norton in the second half.

LNER Builders went down 3-2 at home to Huby after a close game in which Andy Sykes and Paul Crosby saw them lead twice. Martin Durrant hit the first equaliser for Huby, Dan Grainger levelled matters for the second time and Durrant struck the winner inside the last five minutes.
