Thank you for the excellent article (March 15) on the planning application submitted by the Holgate Windmill Preservation Society for the restoration of Holgate Windmill.
Just one slight correction.
Following historical research carried out by the local historian Geoff Hodgson we now know the Windmill was built in 1770 and not 1780.
