ADAM Fella was the star with all the goals as Osbaldwick won 3-0 at Pocklington in Leeper Hare York and District League Reserve 'A'.

Stephen Pearson restored the lead for Black Horse but goals from Dave Bailey and Darren Allott swung the game Poppleton's way.

Four second half goals took the points for Stamford Bridge at home to Haxby. Mark Lowther netted the Haxby goal from a free-kick in the first half and the score was 1-1 at the break.

Gareth Owen, Adam Hargreaves (3) and Darryl Carter were the Stamford Bridge scorers.

Simon Gatenby scored twice for Heslington but visitors Copmanthorpe hit five in reply. Roy Atkinson, Gavin Mears, Matthew Pearson and Andrew Manns (2) were their marksmen.

Second and third-placed teams, Thorpe and Nestl Rowntree were level 1-1 when the referee decided to call a halt to the game early in the second half because of the terrible weather.

Riccall won 4-3 at Civil Service with Dan Rogers (2), Gareth Jackson and Paul Wadsworth on target. Alan Smee, Nick Doggitt and Alistair Byrne scored for Civil Service.

The top two teams in Reserve 'D' had to settle for a draw as Tockwith took the lead when Steve Strachan scored direct from a corner midway through the second half and soon afterwards Shane Olley equalised for Amotherby.

Heworth gave up home advantage by travelling to Fulford and were rewarded with a 2-1 win with goals from Mark Hansey and Andy Innes.

The Reserve Cup semi-final scheduled for tomorrow between St John's College and Dringhouses has been put back to Tuesday March 30 (7.30pm) due to a waterlogged pitch at York RI following Saturday's deluge.

The other semi-final between Haxby United and Nestl Rowntree on Thursday will go ahead, weather permitting, 7.30pm kick-off.
