MEMO to the citizens of York.
The Woodhouse Lane multi-storey car park in Leeds only costs £1 for five hours on a Saturday, and is only a five-minute walk to the shops, which are better than York's anyway.
So don't complain about the exorbitant parking charges in York, go to Leeds, it's easier and much, much cheaper.
