Continuing our look at the players taking part in the Fans' Match at Bootham Crescent on Sunday, May 9, here's a profile of four more players who will be turning out for the home team.

Richard Coaker (shirt number 12): Not to be confused with West Ham starlet Nigel Reo-Coker, Sheffield-born 41-year-old Richard is a life member of the Supporters' Trust and completed the White Horse Walk in February 2002 to raise funds. He has been persuaded to come out of retirement to play a cameo role from the bench and scored from the penalty spot on his last appearance at the Crescent.

Richard's first City game was a 3-1 home victory over Plymouth in April 1976 when future England striker Paul Mariner was in the visitors' line up. He lists his most memorable League games as the 5-1 victory at Barnet in 1992/3, inspired by Paul Barnes' hat-trick, and the 3-1 victory at Brighton to stay up in 1995/6.

The most memorable goal Richard recalls was David Buchanan's 30-yard effort in the 1-1 draw at Elland Road in the Littlewoods Cup in 1987/88, which he regards as Bobby Saxton's finest moment in a troubled season. Finally, Richard cannot split the John Byrne and Keith Walwyn striking partnership in the championship winning side of 1983/84 when asked to name his favoutire player.

Andy Meek (shirt number six): Andy, aged 39, has supported City for 26 years and lists his favourite players as Keith Walwyn, Jon McCarthy and Chris Topping and his most memorable match as the famous 1-0 FA Cup fourth round victory over Arsenal in 1985.

In 1993, as part of Andy's stag weekend celebrations, his friends surprised the groom-to-be by arranging for an 11-strong party to be match sponsors for the home game against Brighton.

Kevin Atkinson (shirt number nine): No relation to Hugh, Paddy, Dalian or Ron, Kevin has been a City fan for 26 years and is married to the long-suffering Jane with one son Robert - a Minstermen fan of the future.

He also names Keith Walwyn as his all-time favourite player and lists Manchester United, Wembley and 5-0 wins in successive seasons at Blackpool, as well as the 5-1 victory at Barnet, as his most memorable games. Darren Dunning is his current City favourite.

Kevin helped raise more than £4,000 in the White Horse walk for the Supporters' Trust two years ago and, between 1991 and 1997, he went six years without missing a City first-team game, including Autoglass matches.

Nick Cartwright (shirt number three): Nick has played for a number of years representing Brayton Juniors from Under-13 to U16 level before turning out for Real Cliffe and Drax. Nick is no stranger to injury, having broken his leg a number of years ago, and he now models his skills on Peter Kay's " 'ave it" approach.

Putting one over the mob from Old Trafford is also the cherished memory of this Minsterman.

CITY fans have proven their famous generosity to defeat their Third Division counterparts from Scunthorpe to progress to the last 16 of the "Send Shirts to Skopje Cup".

Football jerseys donated by followers of the Minstermen outnumbered those sent to Yorkshire Building Society collection points by Iron supporters.

Any City fans who have still got any unwanted kits, especially any with cheques on the sleeves, can help the club's quarter-final bid by calling in at their local Yorkshire Building Society or posting them to "Send Shirts to Skopje", c/o Catapult PR, 19a-20a Marsh Mill Village, Thornton Cleveleys, Lancashire, FY5 4JZ.

The shirts will then be distributed to some of the most impoverished areas of the Macedonian capital.

Finally, congratulations to Poppleton Junior Football Club who were awarded with a prestigious FA award at half-time of City's home game with Macclesfield on Sunday.

The village outfit have become one of the first 150 clubs in the country to achieve Community Club status under the FA Charter Standard Clubs Scheme.

Poppleton have positioned themselves at the heart of the community to qualify for the award and provide opportunities for players irrespective of age, gender and ability.

This includes having a minimum of ten teams and, at least, one girls'/women's side.

Clubs must also provide qualified coaches, first aiders, child protection officers and a schools liaison officer.

In return, Poppleton will now be free to apply for further funding to the Football Foundations and have received an FA Community Club Kitbag, containing balls, bibs and cones.

There will also be opportunities for tickets to England youth and women's internationals.

TEENAGE defender Graeme Law picked up an Evening Press Player of the Year point on his Minstermen debut against Macclesfield.

On-loan Huddersfield striker Jon Newby also collected his first two points as a City player, while boss Chris Brass was man of the match in a disappointing display.

Latest standings: Dunning 37 points, Ovendale 26, Bullock 24, Hope 22, Nogan 22, Brass 11, Merris 11, Ward 11, Cooper 10, Wood 10, Smith 10, Wise 10, Edmondson 9, Bell 6, Davies 6, Parkin 5, Walker 5, Newby 2, Yalcin 2, Brackstone 1, Fox 1, George 1, Law 1, Offiong 1, Shaw 1, Wilford 1.
