MALTON'S Darren Wyrill followed two 70s and a century with an unbeaten 88 as his side rattled up 248-3 at Driffield in division one.

An unbeaten century and three wickets by Australian Glen Jones boosted Osbaldwick's chances of a speedy return to the top flight.

Two bowlers recorded triple wicket overs in the game at Hull Zingari which saw Tadcaster Magnet lift themselves off the foot of the division with an 18 run margin at Chanterlands.

Chris Malthouse was on form for Magnet as he made 91 and Dave Lord 30. But Jim Waterhouses - supported by Andy Hanson's 3-58 - was Zingari's hero as he claimed 6-58 including three in one over.

Alistair Markham hit 52 for Hull but Paul Downey repeated the three wicket feat on his way to decisive figures of 5-54 as he and Matthew Keel 3-25 had the home side back in the hut for 153.
