THERE is an easy and guaranteed solution to the problem of football hooliganism (Letters, June 18). Hold the next major international tournament in a hardline Islamic state which enforces Sharia law, for example Iran or Saudi Arabia.
If the yobs decide to get off their heads with drink, they'll find their heads coming off at the hands of an executioner, thereby solving a major social problem at no cost to the British taxpayer.
