I WOULD like to thank all the people who support St Catherine's Hospice Lottery. Last year we made a profit of £195,000, which virtually paid for our day-care service for patients, families and carers. This is amazing.
We have at present approximately 8,000 playing members and we have just embarked on another telephone canvass for new members. I apologise to those who find it annoying, but it is the only way we can economically canvass our large geographical area.
The team of staff, collectors and volunteers led by Ivan Torkington beaver constantly away to recruit members so they can provide more funds for patient care. If you would like to become a member of our lottery, please contact Ivan or Christine on 01723 356027 and an application form will be sent.
