With the subtitle 'My Daddy Is The Best In the Universe', this is a must-buy present for dad's birthday.
Jobling is the author of the hugely successful Bob The Builder series and the charming Dinosaurs After Dark. His artwork is bright and bold, and his text simple and sparky.
The story opens with three little girls in the park, two of whom are boasting about how great their dad is. The third girl, Molly, just listens patiently - until she reveals her trump card.
There's no age guidelines for the story, and while my two-year-old daughter enjoyed reading it with me, the humour of the children trying to out-do each other in the boasting stakes went over her head.
For daddy's girls of three and above, I reckon. And for fathers of all ages.
