York City Supporters Trust representatives will be available in the club shop before and after tonight's home match with Tamworth to hand out membership forms.

The Trust have seen the number of annual members, costing £10, drop by more than 50 per cent from 1,633 to 725, following the July 1 renewal date and are beginning a new recruitment drive.

Trust members will also be distributing forms at Saturday's home game with Hereford as well as receiving completed applications.

As well as contributing towards the continuing efforts of the Trust - the body that owns the football club - membership benefits include an ownership stake, the ability to stand for and vote in the upcoming Trust Board elections and entrance into the fortnightly draw for an invitation to the York City boardroom.

While still remaining one of the best-supported Trusts in the country, City's fans group is hopeful that several hundred people, who have yet to renew their membership for 2004/05, will do so within the next few weeks.
