THE picture of John Prescott (Pay up Mr Prescott, August 11), tells a story of arrogance and broken promises.
One thing Mr Prescott is forgetting is that people will remember his lack of compassion.
Many in the Labour group will suffer because of his misguided remarks to the citizens of this city who have been devastated by flooding.
He is turning his back when the people turn to him for help and support.
Some lives will never be the same and to hear news from the Deputy Prime Minister of a negative nature is appalling in every sense.
This man has no compassion or feeling towards society.
Should he represent the Labour Party or has power gone to his head?
