THANK you for the excellent picture on page seven, Villagers welcome return of public bench, (Evening Press, August 11).
As chairman of Shipton Parish Council, I was most impressed by the quality of the picture, taken on a day which was not ideal for photography.
The most pleasing aspect is the way your paper supports local villages and gives them the chance to get publicity for the events they organise.
The parish council is grateful.
