Hiccups, who has recently moved stables, could prove the answer to the feature race at Musselburgh tomorrow.

Previously trained by Lynda Ramsden, the four-year-old is now with David Nicholls, who has targetted the £15,000 Quality Racing On Racing UK Handicap for his new recruit.

Although not the easiest of horses to win with, his occasional tendency to miss the break being one of his handicaps, Hiccups is a very capable sprinter when things go his way.

At Ripon on his latest outing he finished a highly creditable third to Smokin Beau in the Great St Wilfrid Handicap over six furlongs.

Going back to the minimum trip tomorrow should not inconvenience him and, although he needs to be out of the stalls sharply to give himself a chance, he is not one to underestimate. Alex Greaves, the trainer's wife, takes the mount.

Wonderful Mind gets the vote in the £10,000 Watch Live Racing On Racing UK Nursery Handicap.

Tim Easterby's youngster, a Beverley winner earlier in the season, has run creditably in handicap company since then and should be well suited by this sharp track. Drawn four, he is well positioned to gain his second success of the campaign.

Declan Carroll, based at Warthill near York, has good prospects of winning the Rectangle Group Handicap with Joshua's Gold, the mount of smart stable apprentice Daniel Tudhope.

A winner at Carlisle two outings ago, beating Boppys Princess, twice a winner since, Joshua's Gold ran a fine race in defeat against older horses when finishing fourth at Catterick on his latest start.

Back against three-year-olds tomorrow, he should take plenty of beating.

Romil Star is napped to take the opening Racing UK Apprentice Handicap.

Trained at Middleham by Karl Burke, the seven-year-old underlined his well-being when landing an amateur riders' race at Catterick on his latest start, coming from well off the pace to win narrowly under a tender ride. There could be more to come from him.

At Lingfield, Hypnotic can gallop his rivals into a trance in the Hays Montrose Novice Stakes.

Sir Mark Prescott's juvenile is the winner of his last two starts, both on this Polytrack course, his latest success coming under top-weight in a nursery. He looks smart and will surely be hard to beat.

Cupid's Glory (2.50), a stablemate of Hypnotic and a winner at Chester last weekend, is also worth noting on the all weather, along with the in-form Barton Sands (4.50) on the turf.
