A YORK woman has been chosen to be the "face" of the city which gave the world the Fab Four.
Bev Hodgson has just gained a first-class degree in forensic and biomolecular science from Liverpool University.
Bev, 22, is also being used as the face of Liverpool in the City of Culture 2008 promotions.
Bev, of Lastingham Terrace, was discovered as she supplemented her studies by working as a house model for hairdresser Andrew Collinge.
She featured in some publicity shots, which were spotted by the Liverpool Echo newspaper and used on the cover of their health and beauty section.
"I really didn't know what I was letting myself in for," said Bev, a former Fulford School pupil.
"My mum is really proud of me. She keeps embarrassing me with the photos and taking them different places."
Bev has yet to decide what career she would like to pursue, and is currently working in a video shop while she saves money to go travelling.
