BOOKIES favourites Harrogate Town take on third-placed Hinckley United tomorrow in front of what could be a good home crowd at Wetherby Road.

After Town's 5-1 thrashing of Gainsborough Trinity earlier this week, internet bookmakers Skybet have slashed their odds on them winning the Conference North title to 5-1.

Manager John Reed said: "Saturday should be a good game because they have gone into third and we are fourth, and we are hopeful of a decent crowd."

Marc Smith, who started the season sidelined with an ankle injury, came through his midweek encounter without any scrapes looks likely to resume his position in the starting line-up.

Two new players were added to the Harrogate Town ranks this week, including 21-year-old right back Grant Black, who has made five starts for Barnsley, and former Middlesbrough man Stephen Larkin who can play anywhere on the left.

Both are a welcome addition to the club, who have missed out on promising young forward Gary Williams to Stalybridge Celtic because he would have broken the bank.
