Newly-promoted Canvey Island make their first trip to the McCain Stadium with Nicky Henry's Scarborough side looking to build on a successful Bank Holiday run of four points from two games.

Said Henry: "We know they are a strong side but we are feeling confident and we are looking to keep our run going."

He changed Boro's formation to 4-3-3 at Burton but is keeping schtum about tactics for tomorrow.

"We rested Keith Gilroy which turned out to be a good move because we won the game - but that doesn't mean to say that we will play the same way again," he said.

Steve Burton played in attack alongside Tony Hackworth and Robert Gill with Steve Baker playing his first game of the season in defence.

Baker conceded a late penalty at Burton but is likely to retain his place.

Added Henry: "I wanted to freshen things up. Gilroy missed nearly all of last season and very often players need a little break after being out for so long."

Boro from: Walker, Lyth, Hotte, Cryan, Nicholson, Thompson, Redfearn, Kerr, Gilroy, Hackworth, Burton, Gill, Senior, Baker, Downey, Pounder.
