JIM Collis is lining up a new signing ahead of Tadcaster Albion's long trip to Nottingham tomorrow.
Taddy take on Carlton Town in NCEL division one without the unavailable Andy Cygan, who joins broken foot victim Paul James on the absence list, but perhaps with this new player who may sign before the deadline, while Pat Render may also return from unavailability.
Boss Collis admitted he knew little of Carlton, though he has been tipped off by old mate Jimmy Reid, whose Goole team last year met them in a cup clash.
"He said they were a useful team and that's all I know about them really. We'll take it from there," said Collis.
Selby Town will be favourites to progress through the first qualifying round of the FA Vase as they host division one side Winterton Rangers.
