I WRITE in response to Coun D'Agorne's letter (September 8).
If a party of two councillors had been able to co-ordinate their holidays to ensure one of them could have attended the east planning committee meeting on August 12, Coun D'Agorne would have been aware that while I was not able to attend the meeting I did send written representations to the committee.
Unlike Coun D'Agorne, I was aware that Burton Croft was on the agenda for consideration at the meeting on August 12 and took steps to ensure the views of Clifton residents and the wider community were heard.
Coun D'Agorne and the Green Party did not.
Coun David Scott,
Clifton ward,
Sandringham Street, York.
