Selby, beaten twice last season by Keighley, gained some revenge by beating them 22-17 in a Yorkshire One game at Sandhill Lane.
Selby trailed trailed 17-3 inside 17 minutes. Winger Asa Firth put Keighley ahead and then their prop and skipper Robert Riley forced his way over. John Harrison added the conversion.
Dan Porter penalty kicked a Selby penalty after Keighley went over the top.
Keighley scrum-half Scott Amos went over for a try, but Selby replied with a Paul Scott try, improved by Porter, after a quick tap penalty.
With backs Shaun Austerfield and Andy Gable outstanding, Selby were in control. Their second try came through full-back Chris McDonald, Porter's conversion making it 17-17.
The only second-half score was Selby's match-winner on 50 minutes. Austerfield's dazzling run was supported by Jason Cicero, who fed Porter for a try.
Selby lost Cicero to a back injury. There were yellow cards for Keighley prop Tom McCarthur and Selby's Ben Marshall and Paul Scott.
