WE must not forget the plight of animals near and far which suffer unspeakable brutality and who cannot defend themselves.
So it is our duty to speak up for them.
The Evening Press could report on their misfortunes and use its influence to seek stricter enforcement of anti-cruelty laws, or endorse the funding of additional shelters for homeless animals.
Press readers can bring a cruelty-free world closer to reality.
