I first supported York Rugby Club in the 1950s and have managed to see the last two games.
How impressive is our crowd, singing 'Proud to be York', even in defeat.
May I appeal for more of that, and less of what the League Weekly described, with understatement, as 'blatant bias', eg 'screaming for infringements', this extending to venomous disrespect for opponents.
All that stuff, imported from football, doesn't belong here. So, come on. You know who you are. Quality game; quality support.
