The Ivy Restaurant within the impressive Grange Hotel in York has been awarded two AA Rosettes for culinary excellence for the seventh consecutive year.
The latest award was announced in the AA Restaurant Guide 2005 which, when published on October 14, will feature more than 1,800 restaurants throughout the British Isles, all selected and inspected by the AA.
Graham Usher, general manager of The Grange said "We are delighted that the excellence of The Ivy has been recognised yet again and I congratulate our head chef Phil Upton on his flair and skill and the whole team for maintaining such high standards."
The AA Rosette Awards have become the UK benchmark for food quality in restaurants, with leading chefs recognising the impartiality and authority of the accolades.
The dining room at Middlethorpe Hall & Spa in Bishopthorpe Road, York has also earned rosettes for culinary excellence in the new AA Restaurant Guide.
