What an awesome and storming win by York City Knights over Workington Town, who were expected to be no easy pushover having won ten from their last 11 matches.
The Knights defended brilliantly and gave 100 per cent for the full 80 minutes and chased and harried their opponents relentlessly and their attacking play speaks for itself.
It was a privilege to be present and a repeat of this standard of play on Sunday against Halifax I believe should see us come through the Grand Final and gain promotion.
Whatever the result I would like to see a much greater support for the team at home matches for next season and I would urge all RL supporters in the area to get behind this team, who have played some excellent entertaining rugby for the past two seasons.
