FOR the second time this season RI were outgunned by a team with a bigger, more mobile pack.

West Leeds were always going to cause RI's inexperienced pack problems with former Otley star Fillipo running the show.

RI had no answer to the home side's opening burst which saw them 22-3 ahead after 20 minutes, only a penalty by Richard Lightwing getting RI on the board. After RI settled, play became more evenly balanced with breaks by Nathan Ashman and Garret Mallon making inroads into West Leeds territory.

The second half started the same as the first with the home pack driving forward but RI defended well and on occasions had West Leeds rocking.

Two Fillipo tries in a five minute spell put West Leeds further ahead before a consolation try by Garret Mallon made the final score 50-8.
