ST PETER'S has operated the former Queen Anne school for the past three years - the length of time, they say, that "incidents" have occurred on public footpaths through their land.

During this period, I have witnessed many more than 45 "incidents" happen down this once peaceful Victorian cul-de-sac, mainly due to excessive school run traffic.

I have been personally involved in a number of road rage incidents involving traffic commuting to and from St Olave's school.

One irate parent threatened me with violence, literally on my own doorstep, while his daughter had hysterics in his car.

The police have been called to volatile situations on more than one occasion.

With this in mind, and the fact that St Peter's wants to close ancient public rights of way, are we within our rights to insist on a complete ban, due to health and safety reasons, on all St Olave's/Peter's traffic from using Queen Annes Road and North Parade?

Can we insist that they access the school premises via their Clifton entrances, using the same footpaths, cleared of the proletariat to ensure complete safety from St Olave's/St Peter's pupils?
