IN reply to Mrs Taylor's letter Harmful Protest (October 11), newts are only a minute part of the overall picture. Construction vehicles/flooding/contaminated land are but a few other problems.
Does Mrs Taylor or anybody else think 64 affordable homes will solve York's housing needs?
There are awaiting development many brownfield sites in and around York without destroying green fields and hedgerows.
