ANY stout-hearted person would have done the same. Adam Duxbury saw a youth harassing an elderly couple and he stepped in to remonstrate.
And for doing what was right, student Adam received a savage beating from the youth, who had been pushing in at a bus stop in York in broad daylight.
Sadly, Adam will probably think twice before playing the Good Samaritan again. What a sad lesson to learn.
