Pocklington Reserves kept their third consecutive clean sheet with a 3-0 Reserve 'A' win over Malton Bacon Factory.

The goals, from Wayne Johnstone, Colin Peach and Andy Anderson, all came after the break.

Reserve 'B' leaders Haxby trailed at Easingwold to a first-half goal from Dave Hardy but, although they left it late, they claimed the points with goals from Paul Jacobs and Philip Benson.

Struggling Hemingbrough, without a win in Reserve 'C', looked to be getting at least a point from the visit of second-placed Poppleton as goals from Siddique and Leigh Young made it 2-2 with less than 15 minutes left. But the floodgates then opened.

Danny Barrett added to his two goals with another two, Chris Sparks hit his third double of the season and Tim Hudson ended the 7-2 rout.

Riccall, having drawn their last two games, made sure of the points this time by beating Amotherby 5-0 with a hat-trick from Gareth Jackson and two from Adam Shah. Tockwith moved third as Matt Procter and James Brown scored in a 2-0 defeat of Wilberfoss.

Only two points separate the top five in Reserve 'D' after Heworth edged themselves into the leading pack with a 3-2 win over Fulford.

Two first-half goals from Andy Innes and a Shaun Hunter effort put Heworth in control, though late goals from Danny Gouch and Graham Nichols almost spoiled the hosts' festive fun.
