A SCOOTER rider who was involved in a collision with a lorry in York has died in hospital, police said today.
The 59-year-old Wilberfoss man suffered a broken pelvis and neck injuries in the accident near the Hull Road junction with Melrosegate at 6am yesterday.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said the unnamed rider was taken to York Hospital but was transferred to Leeds General Infirmary, where he died late last night.
