I FOUND Coun Steve Galloway's comments about the Evening Press astounding. Calling the editor "irresponsible" for publishing details of faulty individual CCTV cameras is pure hypocrisy (January 26).
It is he and his council who should be deemed irresponsible for the cameras being faulty in the first place. I'm certain he would be the first to complain if, for example, a crime were being committed against him in some way and no action could be taken because of faulty cameras.
It's remarkable how quickly the council responded in repairing the faults.
The council isn't exactly speedy when it comes to action.
