Acomb, who moved from Mick Easterby's Sheriff Hutton yard to the Warthill stables near York of Noel Wilson after changing hands at the sales last autumn, can gain his second success for his new handler tomorrow at Wolverhampton.

The £10,000 footballpools.com Handicap over an extended mile is the target for the five-year-old, a winner over the same course and distance last weekend.

Wilson is clearly keen to strike while the iron is hot with Acomb, a five-times winner on turf for Easterby before being sent to the sales.

Andrew Mullen, who is apprenticed to Hambleton trainer Kevin Ryan, was seen to good effect on Acomb last week and again takes the ride on the gelding tomorrow.

Zoom Zoom, twice a winner on the course in his last three outings, bids to add to his tally in the Littlewoods Pools Be Lucky Handicap over six furlongs.

Trained at Norton by Linda Stubbs, Zoom Zoom will be reunited with Robert Winston. The speedy five-year-old won on his latest start six weeks ago.

Ryedale trainer Paul Midgeley, who ended a long losing spell when Sedge won at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago, bids for victory in division two of the Play Littlewoods Pools Handicap.

Tony Culhane, who steered Sedge to success on his latest start, will again be in the saddle as the five-year-old, still largely unexposed on the polytrack, tackles seven furlongs once again.

Trainer Mark Brisbourne and jockey Shane Kelly have good prospects woth Iced Diamond, my Nap selection to follow-up his recent success, sets the ball rolling for the duo in the Play Littlewoods Pools Handicap.
