MOST people possessing a modicum of humanity will today be celebrating the end of the previously legalised torture and death of God's creatures.
Unfortunately the avowed ''criminals" who take part in this activity, have already stated their intention to break the law.
Given this situation the police have, quite naturally, expressed their concerns about their ability to deal with a bunch of wealthy, well-organised law-breakers
There is a very obvious solution. The Prime Minister should take a leaf out of Mrs Thatcher's book and bring the same degree of determination to deal with this bunch of law breakers as was brought in to deal with the miners back in the Eighties. If necessary bring in the military, as in the Eighties.
Mr Blair has already stated and shown his admiration of Thatcher's policies. So on this issue Tony, it is: ''come back Maggie, we need your willpower to deal with a bunch of people hell bent on breaking the law".
