I MUST say how much I agree with the comment column (February 10), regarding the Barbican becoming a venue for concerts during the racing festival in June.
I for one have greatly missed this facility and welcome its use, hopefully on a full-time basis. It will be good to see the friendly stewards again - Jill, Mike, Roger and co - see a top band and enjoy a drink or two. My only reservation - keep the ticket prices at "northern" levels!
