GOOLE have been rocked by the news that Steve Rollinson will be out for at least a month with a nasty knee injury, while Steve Davey will also miss Buxton after taking a knock of his own against Selby Town.

But Joe Gaughan will be reinstated alongside brother Pat Gaughan, having been dropped for the midweek crunch derby at former club Selby for playing Sunday morning football. Mark Willoughby is also back in contention after suffering the same icing by manager Paul Marshall.

Goole will be further boosted by the arrival of defensive midfielder Peter Sumner on a month's loan from Guiseley.

Said Marshall: "We needed to add a couple for the final promotion push and it's great to have both Peter and Pat on board. Pete will hopefully help keep the goals out which was our problem before.

"What we have now got is plenty of goals in the team - Tuesday's 0-0 draw was only the second time we haven't scored all season - and we have got the best scoring record in the league."

Goole's challenge this Saturday is to end Buxton's five game unbeaten run and threaten bitter rivals Selby Town's tenure at the top of the league.

Fifth-placed Harrogate Railway host Glasshoughton Welfare without the services of midfielder Andy Shuttleworth.

He sustained a nasty eye injury in the League Cup replay against Carlton Town last week.

Pickering Town go away from home for the first time in weeks to take on 12th placed Thackley, while Tadcaster Albion have a blank weekend in division one.
