York FA Under-17s retained the Tony Aveyard Trophy for the fourth successive season with a 2-1 victory over Scarborough FA U17s at Pickering Town's ground.
York were on top from the start and within 15 minutes had taken a 2-0 lead with goals from Steven Gillick and LeeBunce. York were rocked when Scarborough reduced the arrears just before the interval.
Nearly all the clear-cut chances in the second half came from Scarborough, but York 'keeper Ben Sheehan made several superb saves.
