YORK City Knights have been forced to put a closing date on applications to be a match-day mascot at a Knights home game this season.
There has been "huge demand" from children of all ages, so the club can not now accept requests any later than this Friday, April 15.
Match-day mascots get: free admission to the match for themselves and a parent/guardian; the loan of a Knights shirt and the chance to have their photograph taken with their favourite player before the game; the chance to lead the players onto the pitch with the team captain for photographs with both captains and match officials; signed copies of the photographs; a bag of Knights goodies.
