DID you ever have a boyfriend/girlfriend who was pleasant and inoffensive, but would never be the love of your life because the passion, the compulsion just wasn't there?

Her voice is pretty, but not breathtaking, and there are a bunch of decent songs, not least the catchy opener Starting Today.
Imbruglia shares writing credits on ten of the 12 tracks - although there are 12 writer credits in total. The album has been three years in the making, but nothing here comes close to the perfection of her best-seller, Torn.
Recommended for a summer fling, but don't expect a long and meaningful relationship.
